  • How are your houses different to others I have seen ?

    We take an old house, completely gut it back to the original brickwork and start from scratch. Every wall, floor and ceiling is brand new. We add the highest grade insulation and double glazing throughout the house and extend the property to enable every bedroom to be large doubles. The new houses are incredibly energy efficient which saves alot of money on heating and utility bills and are extremely spacious inside.

  • Are you recognised landlords ?

    Yes, we are accredited landlords with the National Landlords Association as well as accredited and governed by the Midlands Landlord Accreditation scheme (MLAS). The MLAS scheme is run by The University of Birmingham and Birmingham City Council where we undergo continual development and commitment to landlord best practices. We are members of the National Landlord Association and approved by The University of Birmingham.

  • What furniture is included with the house ?

    Every bedroom includes a double bed, chest of drawers, double mirrored wardrobe, chest of drawers, computer desk, padded leather chair, blackout window blinds and plenty of space for other items you may have. The lounges have Italian designed leather sofas, coffee tables and TV cabinets. The kitchen has a gate dining table and chairs set which can moved and then put out the way when finished. Our 5* plus properties include bar stools and breakfast bar !

  • Is a TV supplied with the house ?

    We supply the latest 42” digital LCD wall mounted flatscreen TV’s in every lounge that have freeview built in. Every bedroom has a TV point installed. In our 5 star plus properties, wall mounted TV’s with DVD player, freeeview and laptop connection are supplied in every bedroom as well !

  • Do your houses include a washing machine ?

    All of our kitchens in every house are supplied with a full suite of appliances that not include extra large washing machines but also include separate extra large tumble dryers, dishwashers, double fridge freezers, double range ovens and ceramic hobs

  • Do your houses have central heating ?

    All of our houses are powered by the latest and most economical digital gas boiler systems enabling you to enjoy instant hot water, thermostatically controlled heating and very low utility bills.

  • How much should I budget for bills ?

    Living in a PosPads Birmingham house means that the average cost of utility bills is far lower than you might find in properties not built to our standard. Double glazing, high grade insulation and the latest boiler and appliances mean average bills works out at approx £3 per person per week.

  • Do our houses have gardens ?

    All of our houses have fantastic large landscaped gardens complete with brick BBQ’s and secure bike storage !

  • We are a group of 6 but really like one of your 7 bedroom houses

    We always have options available regardless of your requirements, just ask !

  • Do I have to pay council tax ?

    Students are exempt and we supply information at the time of taking up tenancy on how to register your Exemption

  • Are your houses HMO registered ?

    Yes, and all of our houses not only just meet Birmingham City Councils HMO standards, they far exceed them !

  • Who do we contact should we have any issues during our tenancy ?

    We very proud to be able to offer one of the best 24 hour maintenance services offered by any landlord in Selly oak. This is achieved by having a whole team of people at your disposal should you require them as opposed to a ‘one man fixes all’ approach adopted by many other landlords. You are given several contact numbers at the start of your tenancy and dependent on the nature of the issue , members of our team who live locally can be with you within a very short time.

  • How many bathrooms do your houses have ?

    All of our houses have a minimum of two bathrooms and some of our houses have as many as three bathrooms

  • How long is the contract for ?

    12 months from July

  • How do I reserve a property ?

  • Are bills included ?

    Bills are not included in any of our houses

  • What utility companies supply the house already ?

    At the start of each new tenancy term our houses are supplied ‘utility free’ meaning that any previous contracts from previous tenants would have been terminated. This means you are free to find the best deal and choose whoever you wish to supply the house with utility services.

  • Do we need to pay a TV licence ?

    Yes, this is not included in your rent.

  • Does the house have internet ?

    Our houses come ‘internet ready’ which means you are free to setup a contract with whichever supplier you wish and they will send you a router to plug in and connect you to the internet.

  • I have a car, is there parking at the house ?

    All of our houses benefit from plenty of free parking outside
